This native prairie grass can provide bedding and habitat. It typically attains heights of 2-4 feet once it is fully established.
Seed 6 to 8 pounds per acre or 2 to 3 pounds in a mix. Seed while soil temps are dormant from Dec - March if broadcasting, or drill in March - May.

Native seed is slow to establish. It may take 2 to 3 years. Do not mow during this time.
