Crimson clover is a great option for forage and pollinators.  It is the earliest blooming legume that reliably overwinters in the Midwest. It has nice lush large leaves, and is great for forage mixes!
 
Crimson produces bold seed heads that look very appealing in April / May!
 
For best results seed 12 to 15 pounds for a pure stand or 4 to 8 pounds in a mixture. Seed Feb - April or September. Depth: 1/4 - 1/2".
