Alsike is a short lived perennial clover that is more tolerant of wet soils and soils with low pHs than most other clover species. It can be used for forage, wildlife and soil health.
 
Alsike clover is very winter hardy and persistent. It can withstand short periods of water-logged soils. For areas with higher fertility levels and adequate drainage, other clovers are typically utilized, as they are likely to provide higher yields.
 
For best results seed 12 to 15 pounds for a pure stand or 4 to 8 pounds in a mixture. Seed Feb - April or September. Depth: 1/4 - 1/2".
